Bring up Janko now. Benny looks mostly lost out there. Hope Jagr is ok! Brouwer actually played well enough to earn his keep. What needs to change here for us to be consistently more successful boys?!

Everyone I talk to about the Flames mentions Janko now and how he should be on the team. Mgmt has to be feeling the heat on why he got cut out camp. What exactly has Tanner Glass brought other than punching Kassian in the head a couple times in an opening night loss ...or F. Hamilton or Lazar, not to mention a couple others who Janko clearly outplayed in camp.

So, when is Bennett gonna be good? He's not playing with Brouwer anymore so we can't use that excuse, I guess we can blame Lazar, now? Or Gulutzan? I hope this kid turns it around.

It's getting so depressing watching these games. Mike Smith has given us elite goaltending and we are 4-4. That's not good. I hope Jagr is ok, he was really clicking with monny and Johnny. Not to sound like a broken record, but janks needs to be called up-and-coming time to give the guys that deserve a shot their chance

Yeah it's time to change these lines up. Bring Janko & play him between Tkachuk & Bennett. I would slot Lazar with Backlund & Frolik. He looked good last night, had speed & was hitting. Ferland needs to get his sh!t together, start playing like he did against Vancouver in the playoffs instead of trying to be a 40 goal scorer. If Jagr is out, then leave him with Money & Gaudreau otherwise 4th line him. Brouwer did have a pretty good game last night.

Lazar had another strong showing last night and Brouwer had by far his best game of the season. Hopefully he can translate that into some consistency and make us hate him a bit less.

But man, Bennett's starting to worry me. I'm glad he didn't take a dumb penalty last night, but he looks so lost out there.

Time to bring Janko up and slide Bennett to wing. Even the Hockey Night guys said he's ready and should be playing in the NHL. A line of Bennett-Jankowski-Versteeg/Lazar could be really good and take some of the pressure off Bennett. We need to ice our best lineup and our best lineup has Jankowski in it.

Overall, though, I think we deserved to win last night. It was a solid effort, we stayed out of the box for the most part, and we were good on the PP. Stalock kept them in it and won Minnesota that game.

We play like we did last night, we'll win more games than we lose.

Agree with what you say but why not try Janko with Bennett & Tkachuk on his wings & have Lazar with Frolik & Backlund. That could turn out better than you think.

Kulak did what he needed to. He was solid, made the correct reads and you pretty much didn't notice he was there.
Basically, he wasn't Bartkowski!
